Over a ton of German sausage and a clear Fall day made for a perfect combination. People began arriving at 10 am for Gruenau’s Fall Feast. This was the first at the Hall since the fire that destroyed the Hall in January 2007. The spacious air conditioned Hall with a new maple dance floor got a good workout, too. The eight-sided Hall was rebuilt with plenty of room for new memories to add to those 100+ years of rich Gruenau history. We will always be grateful for all who stood by us during the reconstruction of our Hall. Thank you and be sure to come join us and make some Gruenau memories for yourself!

Gruenau is back! Old friends and new were all in attendance today as we fired up the ol’ stuffers for the first time in the new hall. A great number of members were at the hall bright and early ready to get the fall feast preparations underway. Walking around I could sense a renewed energy generated by the new hall. With such large number of members working as a team the “work” really didn’t last that long. It seemed like every time I lifted my head another milestone of the day had been passed. Next thing I knew it was time for the stew! After a fun day of sausage making, fellowship over a hot bowl of stew is always the best.

Everyone is having a blast doing the Grand March!

Everyone got a chance to have dinner in the new meeting room. A projector rolls through a few Gruenau memories and folks can eat, drink and enjoy the music and food.
